Irrigation Tube
When using the ENDO P® system, irrigation fluid is delivered to and evacuated from the relevant channels on the endoscope via sterile disposable tubing and cassettes.
The ENDO P® Irrigation Tube is a sterile, single-use tubing set that connects the ENDO P® Day Cassette to the inflow channel of the endoscope so that that the sterility of the irrigation fluid is maintained as it is delivered to the patient. A non-return check valve is included with the ENDO P® Irrigation Tube, this prevents fluid reflux into the Day Cassettes and thereby facilitates this item being suitable for multiple patient use.
The non-return valve has been shown to maintain microbiological safety of the fluid held in the Day Cassette and associated tubing, including the irrigation fluid bag. This facilitates optimum cost-effectiveness as it removes the need to dispose of part-used fluid bags.
If required for cystoscopic use, or other procedures where inflow alone is required, the ENDO P® Irrigation Tube can be purchased separately, packaged sterile for single patient use.
These disposables are unique to Bonvisi and are designed to ensure optimum patient safety and product performance. It is imperative that only disposables approved by Bonvisi are used with our fluid management system.
